Designed a precision wire straightening mechanism to improve the performance of Wire Laser Directed Energy Deposition (WLDED), a powerful Additive Manufacturing (AdM) technique. This project at IIT Bombay involved CAD modeling in Fusion 360, integrating a lead-screw-driven micro-actuation mechanism, and applying load-cell-based sensor feedback to monitor pinching force accurately.

The training involved installing and programming the TAL Brabo industrial robot, operating the teach pendant, integrating sensors and pneumatic systems, and implementing real-world applications like pick & place, vision-based programming, and color-sorting.
